Animals and Algorithms: Coding & Choreography
Moving MattersKC - Harlan Brownlee
Inspired by the flora and fauna of the earth’s biomes students explore the sequential nature of computers and coding. Starting with a creative movement activity, students explore one of the earth’s biomes and then working in small groups, students create a short simple sequential “habitats dance” that duplicates the structure and form of an algorithm. Biomes offered for this workshop are:
- The Tropical Rainforest
- The Southwestern Desert
- The African Savanna
- The Wetlands
Available as a single workshop or as a multi-workshop residency.
