In this multi-workshop residency teaching artist Larry Greer presents STEM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, and math) using theatre. By integrating theatre into STEM curriculum students build 21st century skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  Choose from one of these topics:

 

Animal Adaptations, K-2nd, 6 workshops*
Biome Means Home, K-2nd, 3 to 6 workshops*
Global Explorers, K-2nd, 4 to 6 workshops*
The Changing Earth, K-2nd, 4 workshops*
Science of Flight, 2nd, 6 workshops*
Animals and Algorithms, K-2nd, 6 workshops*
Forces and Objects, K-2nd, 4 to 6 workshops*

Grade Levels: K,1,2

Fees: $127 single, $109 each for 2 or more on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title 1 Schools may qualify for funding assistance.

Program Length: 45 minutes

Requirements: Open floor space. White board or chalkboard preferred, but not required. Teachers must be present at all times during workshop.
