Priest Hughes

Experience the art, history, and literature of the Harlem Renaissance with poet and performer Theodore “Priest” Hughes. Through live poetry performances, writing, and discussion students will experience and analyze the language and imagery as well as the social and cultural climate of the 1920’s. This can be tailored as a multi-workshop residency.

Fees: $127 single, $109 each for 2 or more on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title 1 Schools may qualify for funding assistance.
