Fire in the Soul!
This 50-minute spoken word concert offers lots of student interaction and movement as Lit-Hop, Ink. shares their vision. Life-long learning, good relationships, unity-in-diversity, increased literacy, and healthy choices are communicated through spoken word poetry. The performance addresses bullying, heartbreak, and how to overcome difficulties to become your best self.
This is especially effective when paired with the workshop, Writes of Passage, which is also available as a residency.
