Our Murals, Our Stories
Nicholas Ward
As an introduction to the art of murals, students will engage with one another to research new ideas while sharing their own stories and listening to the stories of others. This multi-workshop residency, led by a professional mural artist who has worked throughout the US, explores murals as a means for civic engagement, visual narratives, and beautification. In addition to being introduced to works by other artists, students will have the opportunity to collaborate on a mural of their own.
