Moving MattersKC - Harlan Brownlee

This workshop is available in person or virtually SYNCHRONOUS (live).

 

Teaching Artist Harlan Brownlee instructs students on the fundamentals of weather phenomena through the use of their bodies and movement. Focusing specifically on clouds in the troposphere, the workshop introduces cloud types and their associated altitudes directly to dance concepts of level, motif, and shape.

Fees: $127 single, $109 each for 2 or more on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title I Schools may qualify for funding assistance.

Requirements: A large, clear space for dancing, preferably a gymnasium or multi-purpose room. If available, a large Screen TV HDMI Compatible. Teachers must be present at all times during workshops.
