Kansas Settlers Band (The)

The Kansas Settlers Band uses songs, guitars, a washboard, spoons, hats, a large map, and stories to teach some of the history of Kansas. Students will enjoy the humor and participation of this lively program. Some will play spoons and dance, and all will sing, clap and join in on a game.

Fees: $532 single, $802 double / The break between performances must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title 1 Schools may qualify for funding assistance.

Requirements: Large, open space, gym or auditorium preferred; space needs to be at least 10 feet tall, 20 feet wide, and 15 feet deep, on the same level as the students; one chair; space should be available 20 minutes before performance for set-up and 10 minutes after performance for break-down.
