Africa Alive

Milton Gray

This performance of African culture and storytelling teaches the importance of oral communication in traditional African life. It focuses on the storytelling tradition of the Ashanti people of West Africa, home of Anansi the Spider. This is an especially effective performance when paired with the dance workshop, Anansi the  Spider.
