In this active workshop, students will explore and develop an understanding of Indian culture through Indian dance and music. Students will increase their curiosity to learn about different cultures in our society and find similarities that exist. They will learn how music, basic movements and hand gestures are connected to science and math. Finally, students will boost their energy, lighten their mood, gain self- confidence, focus on mental and physical health through movement and music.

 

By the end of the workshop, students will learn hand gestures and basic steps so they can perform a short routine with music.

Fees: $127 single, $109 each for 2 or more on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate.

Location: At Your School

Requirements: A large, clear space for dancing, preferably a gymnasium or multi-purpose room. Access to power supply and a speaker.
