Properties of Matter and Materials
Moving MattersKC - Harlan Brownlee
Through an exploration of space, time, and energy, the elements of dance, students investigate and classify the three basic states of matter, gas, liquid, and solid. Examining the different states of matter and the structure of various materials by their observable properties, students demonstrate their knowledge through movement sequences that reflect the materials density, temperature, and kinetic energy.
Available as a single workshop or as a multi-workshop residency.

Fees: $127 single, $109 each for 2 or more on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title 1 Schools may qualify for funding assistance. /

Requirements: A large, clear space for dancing, preferably a gymnasium or multi-purpose room. If available, a large Screen TV HDMI Compatible. Teachers must be present at all times during workshops.
