Oral Tradition: Your Family's Story

Oral tradition, with Master Teacher and storyteller Susansylvia Scott, will inspire children to explore their culture, family history, and background. The workshop increases pride in the ownership of their family and community. The gathering and telling of a story from an elder will enhance creative language, organizational skills, and focusing abilitilies.

Fees: $110 single, $95 each for 2 or more on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title 1 Schools may qualify for funding assistance.
Maximum Audience Size: 30 students

Requirements: Classroom desks moved to create a presentation space. Teachers must be present at all times during workshop.
