Dancin' Diaspora

Danny Diallo Hinds

This workshop links art skills with learning skills, and arts with academics. It is structured around an axis of dances and of cultures taken from Africa and the Diaspora. Each student will be given individual attention in an effort to develop intelligences centered around linguistic, musical, kinesthetic, logical mathematic, spatial awareness, and inter and intra-personal skills. This workshop promotes an awareness, understanding, and appreciation for dance as a means of cultural, artistic, and educational development.
