Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater performs diverse works from the company’s repertory including Mr. Ailey’s Revelations. Students experience a dynamic performance held on a theater stage with full costumes, lighting and sound that is one hour in length – perfect for school audiences.

 

Location: Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, 1601 Broadway Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64108

Dates/Time: Friday March 24, 2023 at 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Fee: $8.00 per student / Free: 2 chaperones per class / $8.00 each additional chaperone

Grades: Kindergarten – 12th

This purchase includes a free 30-minute presentation to students by a KCFAA Ambassador prior to their Ailey Theater Performance! Students receive information about KCFAA, and theater etiquette.

If you have not done so already, you are welcome to apply for bus assistance through the Kauffman Center’s Open Doors Transportation Fund. Complete an application today!

 

· Physical tickets will not be issued for this performance; you will be directed to your seats upon arrival at the Kauffman Center. Please check in with volunteer in a blue vest or a Kauffman Center staff member for assistance and directions to your seats.

 

· The performance will last until approximately 11:45 a.m.

 

· Plan to arrive 30 minutes before the performance begins to allow adequate time for seating
