Ring or Pendant Construction 3-5 Day Residency

Bill Hargraves' class includes a presentation of his work, discussion about jewelry design, and a demonstration of techniques used. Each student will be guided through the process of making their own ring or pendant. 

 

Day 1: 45-minute presentation
Day 2: An explanation and demonstration of design, tools, safety, stone selection and preparation, and soldering and finishing techniques. Students are encouraged to draw several designs for the next class
Days 3–5: Students complete jewelry projects

Grade Levels: 9,10,11,12

Fees: $110 single, $95 each for 2 or more on the same day;A residency requires one $110 planning meeting; Materials Fee: $10.00 per student / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title I schools may qualify for funding assistance.
