Imagine what our land looked like over 200 years ago as a beautiful wilderness. Even then, there were early people who journeyed here to live...they were called colonists!

Learn what reasons brought the first colonials to Jamestown and eventually on to Missouri and Kansas. Two volunteers will dress in period colonial clothing and share the reproduction items within their bags. A colonial story will be told and a live creature from the story will be shown.
