Anansi the Spider

Moving MattersKC - Harlan Brownlee

This workshop is available in person or virtually SYNCHRONOUS (live).

Anansi is in trouble!

Each of his six sons has a special gift they use to help Anansi get out of trouble. Students will use the instrument of their body and design six shapes that represent the six sons. Using the ideas of motif and variation, students will explore different ways to move the shapes. Finally, students will dance the story of Anansi and his six sons.
